Junior QA Tester- Intern

Responsibilities:

• Test web applications across desktop and mobile browsers.
• Verify features against requirements, user stories, and expected behaviour.
• Perform functional, UI, usability, regression, smoke, and compatibility testing.
• Identify, document, and track bugs with clear steps to reproduce.
• Validate AI-generated code output from a user and tester perspective.
• Check forms, buttons, navigation, page layouts, responsiveness, and error messages.
• Support developers by retesting fixes and confirming bug resolution.
• Prepare simple test cases, test scenarios, and test execution reports.
• Report issues using tools such as Jira, Trello, ClickUp, GitHub Issues, or similar.
• Work closely with developers, project managers, and product teams.

Candidate Profile:

• Suitable for freshers, interns, or candidates with 0-1 year of QA/testing experience.
• Curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable testing AI-assisted web development work.
• Able to follow instructions, document issues clearly, and learn quickly.
• Exposure to AI coding tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript..
• Experience with any bug tracking or project management tool.
• Understanding of API testing using Postman is a plus.
• Basic automation testing knowledge using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Willing to work for a monthly stipend in the range of INR 5,000–10,000.

Required Skills:

• Basic understanding of web applications and how websites work.
• Good attention to detail and ability to identify UI or functionality issues.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, browser behaviour, and responsive design is preferred.
• Ability to write clear bug reports with screenshots or screen recordings.
• Familiarity with Chrome DevTools is a plus.
• Familiarity with automation tools e.g selenium is a plus.
• Basic understanding of QA concepts such as test cases, regression testing, smoke testing, UAT.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
